Mariposa Bay Studios is an independent software studio based in Christchurch, England. We design and build games, apps, and tools — with a focus on craft, simplicity, and things that are genuinely enjoyable to use.
The studio is run by Sam Taylor, a developer with a background in data engineering and a growing obsession with building things for the web. Every project starts with the same question: would I actually want to use this?
Our games live under Silly Games Lab — a sub-brand for the lighter, more playful side of the studio. Quick to pick up, hard to put down.
